A continuing education conference on the latest nutrition research and practices every healthcare professional should know!
With hundreds of attendees each year, the Programs annual conference Nutrition and Health: State of the Science and Clinical Applications has become one of the leading nutrition conferences in the U.S.
Co-sponsored by the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine at the Arizona Health Sciences Center and Columbia University, the conference assembles internationally-recognized researchers, clinicians, educators, chefs and best-selling authors to present the latest research in the science of nutrition and health, with an emphasis on clinical integration and practice.
The conference is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, certified clinical nutritionists, naturopaths, and other health professionals who provide nutritional recommendations as part of their practice.
In addition to its educational program for healthcare professionals, the conference also features a dynamic and highly interactive public forum. This year's forum "Tackling the Toxic Table: Foraging for Healthy Food in a Global Economy" features Dr. Weil, Dr. David Wallinga and other nationally-known speakers with expertise in food, health and public policy. The experts will gather on Sunday, April 13 from 2 - 4 p.m. to discuss the state of food and society and answering questions from the audience regarding nutrition and health.
