Premal Patel, MD attended medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She then completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the Waco Family Practice program, serving as chief resident in her final year. Following this, she studied Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, as well in his clinic in Pune, India. She has also studied Acupuncture thru the Academy of Pain Research. She has served as faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute, as well as Wellness Director of Banyan Botanicals. She currently splits her time between India and the US and continues to do private consultations.
